OpenStudy (revircs):

How would I go about finding the product and balancing the chemical equation of: Iron(ii) Chloride tetrahydrate + Potassium Ferrocyanide Trihydrate = ?

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

you have to separate the ions of the reactants and then combine the cation of one wiht the anion of the other and viceversa Iron(ii) Chloride tetrahydrate + Potassium Ferrocyanide Trihydrate -> Iron(II) Ferrocyanide + Potassium chloride + water FeCl2 · 4H2O + K4Fe(CN)6 · 3H2O -> Fe2Fe(CN)6 + KCl + H2O Fe^2+ + 2 Cl- + 4H2O + 4K+ + Fe(CN)6^-4 + 3H2O -> 2 FeCl2*4H2O + K4Fe(CN)6*3H2O = Fe2Fe(CN)6 + 4 KCl + 11 H2O
