Please help to tell me if i did these Net Ionic Equations correctly? The things underlined in green were given...and red is me balancing.

Is NH3 a weak base or a strong base?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

weak...shoot its not supposed to dissociate is it? so it would be NH3 --> N4- + 4H+

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are correct that NH3 would not dissociate. Is NH4 a strong or weak acid?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

weak so it would stay NH4 then as well right? i forgot about that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you, are the others correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also, do you think you could help me check a few more? i just want to make sure i got these homework problems correct..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The others were hard to read.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok well don't worry about those, i looked them over again and i think they are good. can i put a few more up for you to look at...you don't have to look at all of them... but if you would justtake a peek it would be nice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you type it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be too long to type

OpenStudy (anonymous):

These pictures would be better though...i took them earlier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't see anything attached

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm working on it sorry. Had to find the files on my mac.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.95 I need the Concentration (M) of Fe2+ 4.77 I need the Concentration of the final solution after the two solutions are mixed...i don't know how to figure this one out 4.89 is the Molar Concentration of KOH (KHP is Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate) and 4.83 i need the grams of NaCl then i can do the Net ionic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.89 18.68 ml is not 0.1868 L. Redo the ml to L conversion. Otherwise it looks good. For now, I can't look at the others. Maybe later or tomorrow morning.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The molar mass of KPH is not 204,23 g/mol. So the mol for KPH is incorrect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its KHP and it is 204.23...KHP is Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Our teacher gave us that information

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are correct. The formula for KHP is C8H5KO4. So your work is good, just correct the L conversion.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One slight thing you rounded the mol to 3 digits. The mol is 0.0020653, so if you are rounding to 3 digits 0.00206 is incorrect. You started with 4 sig figs, so you should probably round to 4 sig figs.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, thanks...the reason i didn't do that is because my teacher doesn't really care as much about sig figs as he does about us getting the process correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. Then you're fine.
