@Michele_Laino , I got to go, but when I come back, I will read your response. Thanks

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

here we can apply the first Newton's law, so we can write the subsequent vector equation: \[\huge {{\mathbf{T}}_S} + {\mathbf{W}} + {\mathbf{F}} = {\mathbf{0}}\] where \(\mathbf{W}\) is the weight. Such vector equation is equivalent to these subsequent scalar equations: \[\Large \left\{ \begin{gathered} {T_S}\cos \theta + F\cos \left( {90 - \theta } \right) - W = 0 \hfill \\ \\ {T_S}\cos \left( {90 + \theta } \right) + F\cos \theta = 0 \hfill \\ \end{gathered} \right.\] please solve that algebraic system Furthermore, we have \(W=mg\), and \(\theta=24\)

OpenStudy (korosh23):

\[m =( FTsy + Fy ) \] divide by g

OpenStudy (korosh23):

m = 3.5 kg

OpenStudy (korosh23):

I also figured a way to do this. Is it correct?
