Well easy, you leave no parenthesis, and no other mathematical operation unsolved and then you write the terms of "x" with decresing number of exponent, so, the highest one is "4" which is held by \(10x^4\) this means that it should be first, and then we can write the rest in decresing form, which is \(-128x^2\) because the "x" has an exponent of "2": \[10x^4 -128x^2\] is the standard form of the given expression.
