If you are moving at a constant velocity, what is your acceleration?

\[\huge a_\text{average}=\frac{\Delta v}{t}\] Let's take an example. Let's say that our constant velocity is 6mph. That means that it's initially travelling at 6mph and its final velocity is 6mph. \[\huge a=\frac{6-6}{t}=\frac{0}{t}=0\] Therefore, we can always say that if an object travels at a constant velocity, the rate of change of the velocity is 0 (aka, there is no change in the velocity). Since the change of velocity is 0, acceleration will be 0.
