Okay. So in an equation the points (h, k) is the center.
This is the template for all the equations... \[(x – h)^2 + (y – k)^2 = r^2\]
okay im following
So for number 2 we can see that the center is: \[(4, -7)\]
Do you see what I did?
Sorta. But how do we get #1?
Well I am going to help with that last, because the rest are faster.
Now part 2 of number 2..
What is the radius of the equation...
So \[r^2\] is the radius squared.
So in this \[r^2\] is 4 so we have to square root 4 and we would get 2! So the radius is 2!
Do you see that? @bluebeta
Now just do the same to the rest.. now lets do number 1.
Yes, I see it.
It would be: \[(x - 12)^2 + (y + 16)^2 = 16\]
Hope this helped! Have a great day! Also a medal would be much appreciated! Just click best response next to my answer. Thank You! @bluebeta
@Tom_Boy_Rebel You're awesome!! You helped me understand a bit better! Thanks!
