NEED HELPP which of the following is the best description of a redox reaction? A. A reaction in which two new products are created B. A reaction in which the exchange of electrons (or oxygen) occurs C. A reaction in which a precipitate forms as a product D. A reaction that results in the release of heat or light

OpenStudy (jebonna):

Its B :)

Thank you :)

Do you think you could help me on 3 more? @jebonna

OpenStudy (jebonna):

Sure I can try :)

All single displacement reactions can be classified as another type of reaction as well. what type of reaction is that? A synthesis B redox C combustion D decomposition

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if ions change places and gas is formed, then what type of reaction is indicated? synthesis double displacement single displacement decomposition

OpenStudy (anonymous):

last one in which of the following oxides does nitrogen have the oxidation number of +5? N2O NO3- N2O3 NO

OpenStudy (jebonna):

Im not 100% sure on those, but someone else might be able to help you :o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ramzy197 do you know?

OpenStudy (ramzy197):

all single displacement reactions could be also called redox reactions because theyre gaining for losing electrons and im not too sure about the middle one and the last one would be no3- because the oxidation state of oxygen is -6 and for the overall oxidation state of that compound to be -1 nitrogen would have an oxidation number of +5 because (+5)+(-6)=-1
