particle moving. please check my work :)
The beginning part at b is a little different from the first picture to the second because it was done on different days lol. Something seems wrong about the quadratic part.
Right now I am copying it to a new paper and organizing it all so I want to get it checked, sorry if that little piece is confusing :)
@zepdrix :} free?
I am rewriting it now because that's pretty confusing D: part c and d will be the same though. just part b is getting worked on
B looks good :o
We'll have to fix part C I think.
If you take the position at time t=5, and subtract the starting position at t=0, that tells you how far the particle has been `displaced` from its starting position. That doesn't tell you how far (backwards and forwards) it traveled in total.
Err nevermind, it only went in one direction from 0 to 5 :) haha, only decreasing. So you're fine.
phew.
`d) When is the particle speeding up, when is it speeding up?` I think you meant `slowing down` for that second part, ya? lol
I was writing a song!!
xP yes, I meant "when is the particle speeding up, when is it slowing down" xP
lol
For your acceleration function. I don't understand where the t=7.772 is coming from. That was a critical point, why is it being used as an inflection point?
part which?
Err wait maybe my brain isn't working right... thinking..
