OpenStudy (ronlover101):

Which pH would identify a solution as neither acidic nor basic? A. 7 B. 14 C. 1 D. 10

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

Which one do you think it is?

OpenStudy (smilie2015):

The pH scale is graded from 1 to 14,with the acids strengths being from 1 to 6 (1 is the strongest,6 is the weakest) and the alkalines or basic are graded from 8 to 14,so a solution that is neither acidic nor basic is 7. A pH of 7 is said to be "neutral"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, acidic and basic are about opposites, so something in the middle of the pH scale right? What would that be?
