Ok. Let's say we are combining oxygen and hydrogen to get water. The mass on the ''Reactants'' side is 25 grams. During and after the reaction, no mass is LOST or ADDED. Meaning, 25 grams STAYS 25 grams. In a chemical reaction, the mass of the products in a chemical reaction must equal the mass of the reactants.

Correct! From now on, remember that: Mass on one side of the reaction WILL ALWAYS EQUAL the mass on the other side of the reaction. Remembering this will help you later. :D Since there are 50 grams in one side, the other side MUST have 50 grams.
