OpenStudy (britanyashton):

I need help with thermal equilibrium and understanding it. Include sources or else I'll have trouble trusting your explanation. Consider two objects, copper cube and/or a aluminum cube transferring energy between the two. 1. How will the difference between the two's initial temperatures affect the outcome/the final temperature? 2. Can you use the change in temperature, to determine how long it will take to reach equilibrium? 3. What influences how long it takes for objects to reach thermal equilibrium?

OpenStudy (britanyashton):

the bigger the temp differ, the greater the rate of exchange is. so, the greater the differ between the two initial temps, the greater the rate will be.
