can someone help me im stuck :/
i guess i really didnt understood it since it didnt state the original triangle
are you in connexus
no
@leonardo0430, firstly take a point, say C, and tell me the coordinates. Secondly, tell me the coordinates of the rotated point, C'.
o kant help ya
would the first C point be in the black triangle?
what i got is -x and -y but it says i got it wrong
yes
@tom982 has a great approach to the question can you tell us what coordinates you have for C and C'? C is in black while C' is in blue
C is found at (2,-2). C' is found at (-2,2). Can you spot which map will do this?
Sorry @freckles, hadn't seen what you'd said!
so basically they would flip , x would be in y and y would be in x, (-y,x) ?
you also might want to look at the other points too ... to help you see what is going on
x=2 is changing to x=-2, so we know our function changes from (x,y) to (-x,?). Can you repeat what I did to see what y changes to (the question mark).
y-2 is changing to y+2 so it would be -x,y ?
y=-2 is changing to y=2. So again it's becoming the negative of what it was as -2*-1=2. Do you understand why?
