When guessing the product of a reaction you have to consider each of the reactants properties. Since it takes a while to acquire that knowledge, and a lot of practice, I'd recomment you get yourself a data table. I'm looking at my table, and already know the answer but let me first tell you this: One of the things you have to consider is the state of agregation of each reactant, if they're solid, aqueous, gas, liquid, then you can make your first conclutions. In this case I imagine you have both reactants as solutions. \[Pb \left( NO _{3} \right)_{2(aq)} + KCl _{(aq)} \] which means you have these ions dissolved: \[NO _{3 (aq)}^{-} \] \[Pb _{(aq)}^{+2}\] \[K _{(aq)}^{+} Cl _{(aq)}^{-}\] the next step is to figure what type of reactionis this, you have several possibilities: you can consider acid-base, redox,or precipitation reactions. Choose the one that best fits the equation. Finally, we know some solid ionic compounds are highly soluble in water, like nitrate salts. in your case however Pb+2 tends to form a precipitate in the presence of... (and I'll leave you the rest).
