2. Propane gas (C3H8) burns completely in the presence of oxygen gas (O2) to yield carbon dioxide gas (CO2) and water vapor (H2O). Assuming that all volume measurements occur at the same temperature and pressure, how many liters of carbon dioxide gas will be produced in the reaction?

Balanced : C₃H₈ + 5 O₂ -> 3 CO₂ + 4 H₂O
well if we consider standard temperature and pressrue STP 1 mole of every gas occupies the same amount of volume. 1 mole of every gas occupies 22.4L @1atm at 298K from the balanced equation, we have 1 mole of C3H8 produces 3 moles of carbon dioxide. if we assume that we have 1 mole of C3H8 then we would get 3 moles of carbon dioxide. \[\frac{ mol }{ 22.4 } = \frac{ 3mol }{ x }\] = 67.2 L
