So basically the distance between A and C is 1/4th the distance of A and B.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Whoops, meant to have a question mark.
OpenStudy (gudetamas):
yes
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Well what is the distance between 8 and -3? What is the distance between 6 and 0?
OpenStudy (mathmale):
I think you'd gain a lot by graphing this problem before trying to solve it.

2.75 and 3/2
OpenStudy (gudetamas):
2.75 = 11/4
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Well 3/2 = 1.5 so let's go from there. So if you haven't figured it out, (2.75,1.5) is 1/4th the distance from A to B. So all you have to do is \[\large \sf ((8-2.75),(6-1.5))\] to get your answer.
OpenStudy (gudetamas):
21/4 and 9/2 tnx
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Well put formally it would be (5.25,4.5) but yes. and no problem :)
