The mass of a single argon atom is approximately diddly squat :-) A mole of argon atoms (about \(6.022141 * 10^{23}\) of them) has a mass of 39.948 grams. This is the molar mass of argon, which is the same as the atomic mass in atomic mass units, except using grams as the units. This value can be found on your periodic table. Divide 39.948 grams by the value of the Avogadro number (\(6.022141*10^{23}\)) and you will have the mass of an individual argon atom.
