OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. Write the balanced equation for the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) (Hint: Products are water and oxygen. Remember oxygen is a diatomic molecule).

OpenStudy (ramzy197):

it already gives you a hint so you now know what the products are so you just have to find the chemical formula of water which is composed of hydrogen and water and the chemical formula of oxygen it might also help if you write it out as a word equation then convert it into a chemical one :) an example would be the combustion of propane so the word equation would be propane+ oxygen = carbon dioxide + water the chemical equation would be C3H8 + 5O2 = 3CO2 + 4H2O i hope it helped :)
