I need help with my chemistry test 1. What is the percent composition of compound that has a total mass of 63.9g that contains 51.0g Cu and 12.9g O? 2. write both he full balanced ionic equation for the following reaction and the balanced net ionic equation. What are the specter ions if there are any (If not write that there are none)? EQUATION: AgNO3(aq) + GaCl(aq) --> AgCL(s) 3. What do all word equations start with? What comes next in the word equation? How is the word equations concluded?

OpenStudy (zale101):

1. What is the percent composition of compound that has a total mass of 63.9g that contains 51.0g Cu and 12.9g O? To calculate the percent composition, you first need to know the grams or the molar mass of each element given and also the total mass. If you have all these info available, then you can calculate the percent composition of a compound. For example, in water, to calculate the mass percent of it i would simply breakdown each element's mass. \(Percent~Composition=\Large \frac{Mass~ of~ an~Element }{Total~Mass~of~a~Compound} \times 100\)

2. write both he full balanced ionic equation for the following reaction and the balanced net ionic equation. What are the specter ions if there are any (If not write that there are none)? EQUATION: AgNO3(aq) + GaCl(aq) --> AgCL(s) \(\large\color{red}{Please~Show ~an~ attempt~to ~this ~question}\)

"specter" [sic] ions? I think I saw some of those Oct. 31 :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

See I cant even attempt this because I dont even understand how to do any of it, I would if I could

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

@Ivytheninja Zale101 showed you the procedure for doing some of the steps. Can you show your attempt at following those instructions? If not, can you ask a question here about what you don't understand about those instructions?
