Well I thought I was suppose to divide by 7 because in each group of people there are seven people.

I see you're on the right track, but would prefer you show all your results in one place. You've suggested multiplying 52 by 3. Why? Please show ALL steps in one entry.

the problem says nothing about dividing the group into smaller groups of 7 people. The important thing here is that 3/7 (a fraction) of the whiole group respond "yes.

So, multiply the number of peoople in the group by (3/7).

This is the whole problem if that helps: J & B Research is conducting a survey to see if people still live in the state in which they were born. They hired Kimberly, Emily, and Ava to conduct the survey. Kimberly surveyed 400 people with 38% of respondents answering yes. Emily surveyed 364 people with 3 out of 7 respondents answering yes. Ava surveyed 350 people with 0.44 of respondents answering yes. Place the survey takers in order from least number of respondents answering yes to greatest number of respondents answering yes.
