Will medal and fan What is the perimeter of the figure to the nearest hundredth of a centimeter? A. 24.56 cm B. 18.28 cm C. 16 cm D. 14.28 cmhttps://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1419000_1419500/1419360/1/b69e6f0436c6372513cf1e14b305f60a42b76b33/MS_PA_130922_171132.jpg
what is the area of the square?
16 beacause 4+4+4+4=16
The trick to solving this problem is to recognize that the figure is made up of two parts, and that you'll need to find the perimeter of each separately. Supposing you find the perimeter of the circle, you'd take HALF of that because only half a circle shows. You'd find the perimeter of the rectangle, then subtract the length of one end. (Why?) Then, add the perimeteer of the half circle to the perimeter of the rectangle that lacks one end.
you know the formula for the perimeter of a circle?
aka the 'circumference"?
2*pi*r
yes and what is \(r\) in this case?
4 maybe
that would be the diameter
@mathmale WAT CAN U DO CAN U BAN ME
JUST WONDERING
That's not an appropriate question here ... you're working on a math problem.
But I can tell you this: I have no reason to suspend (not ban) you.
@mathmale im not stoopid
stop pls
Never said you were. Kindly stop. Focus on the math problem.
What is the perimeter of the semicircle? First, determine the radius of the semicircle.
Kindly focus on the problem at hand.
so i know 4 is the diameter
yeah the radius is half way, half the diameter
so what do i do next dan
