An unused roll of paper towels has the dimensions shown. What is the volume of the unused roll?
Hi! Welcome to OpenStudy! You have to post the picture that has the dimensions shown so we can try to help you!

Alright so we basically have a cylinder like shape here. Do you know how to find volume?
Yes
v=pie*r^2 h
Alright, so pi times the radius. Where is your radius?
You mean in the drawing?
Yes
Well, I am not really sure but here is a link so you can see better: http://www.somersetacademy.com/ourpages/auto/2013/4/5/55274073/Chapter%2010%20page%20589-615.pdf

I'm looking at it, and a lot of the examples seem taught so differently. But we are gonna work through this. So the formula as you said is v=pie*r^2 h Which is volume equals pi times radius squared times height. Now, you know what radius is right?
ok
I was asking if you know what radius is. :)
You there @nadiahossain
Yeah sorry
Radius is the half of diameter
Alright, so which part is the diameter in the figure that you are working on?
the unused roll
