Atoms bond in several different ways to form molecules. Which changes result from an ionic bond between two atoms? A. Electrons from each atom are shared equally. B. One or more electrons will be transferred from the electron shell of one atom to another atom. C. One or more electrons from each atom are lost. D. Electrons will be transferred from the nucleus of one atom to another atom.
@Anaise
Hm
im thinking C or wait... :/
Perhaps B? :)
C sounds idiotic.
Jabez can you define an ionic bond?
Stop trashing this, leave @ShadowLegendX
It's a type of bonding way that it generates 2 opposite charged ions, i think i said that right if i remember accurately
I found the answer to this with just small research on the terminology. Doesn't seem hard...
I am skimming through books....you are making my efforts worthless.
Mhm
lol so that means it's A or B?
flutter it, no explanation. Yes.
copy and pasting this to my file
I have useless pellet.
B or A? :P
All ionic bonds involve the sharing of electrons between two nuclei. The difference lies in the degree of sharing. The greater the electronegativity difference, the greater the polarity in the bond and the more like an ionic bond it is. An ionic bond between atoms forms when the electrons in the outer layers of two different atoms will add up to 8, so they can combine to make a"compound" with a full outer layer of electrons. The two different atoms are able to combine their electrons to become stable. When the bond is formed between the two atoms they are very close together and form a new material.
^If you do not know, let's play iny meeney miney moe, ignore that
Okay jabez, starting on A or B
Get ready
set
it's fluttering B
I would go with B as well
ok lol
