Will fan and medal Find the slope of the line.
give me one sec
\[m=\frac{ 1 }{ 5 }\] to find slope, it can be \[slope=\frac{ rise }{ run }\]
@originalgroupie_ got 1 over 5 as well. Is that right?
yeah @B.R
@originalgroupie_ Can you help me with a few more?
sure, is it about slope?
What is the slope of the line? I think it's unidentified.
undefined
Write an equation on the slope given. ( 8, 3); m = 5 ??
in-point slope
oh okay. can you give me one sec? Gotta grab computer charger XD
Sure!
ok so do you know the formula?
Could you explain it again? Math isn't my strong point. >.<
ok i'll write the formula.
\[y-y1=m(x-x1)\] This is the formula... now I am going to fill it in given the numbers you gave me. \[y-3=5(x-8)\] That's all you do. It's not asking for an answer. It's only asking for point slope form.
Okay.
I have two more. Practice.
ok
( -10 - 6 ); m = - 5/8
( 4 -7 ); m = 0.54
ok give me a minute to type them out
\[y+10=-\frac{ 5 }{ 8}(x+6)\]
oh wait oops
just switch the 10 and 6 ^
\[y+7=0.54(x-4)\]
There do you understand? all you have to do is plug the numbers into the formula
Thank you! I copied the formula to help me in the future
okay. not trying to be weird, but do you have an instagram? It is the same as my open study username and if you ever need help, I would probably log onto here faster that way. If not, then good luck!
