Imagine if you had a container right. container A has a huge volume while container B has a smaller volume. Volume is like how much space the gas has to move around while pressure is how frequently the gas molecules hit the walls of the container. if you have a large volume as in figure A you'll have a small pressure because the gases have more space to move around. If you have a small volume the gases have less space to move around and thus hit the walls of the container more, higher pressure. |dw:1453412965667:dw|
