OpenStudy (henrietepurina):

Hey so I need to find the complex conjugate of 3i+4

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The complex conjugate of a + bi is a - bi. Just change the sign of the imaginary part.

OpenStudy (henrietepurina):

so simply 3i-4? @mathstudent55

OpenStudy (henrietepurina):

no wait -3i+4

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The second one is correct. You have the imaginary part first. In a complex conjugate, the only difference is the sign of the imaginary part.
