another question help please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question is what do I put in the question marks..?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

(x^3)^15 = x^45 so than you need x^46 so you need multiplie by x the x^45 so will be (x^3)^15 *x ok ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

inside radical

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the 3 and 15 are the answer that would go in the question marks so like, x^3 * x^15?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry you ment thats what i had to do for x^46?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

no x^45 *x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry i understand!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry the answer is x^45 * x

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

and x^45 is (x^3)^15 so this mean that x^3 coming out in front of radical - ok ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok. ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i understand the x^45 is (x^3)^15 ..not sure what you mean x^3 is coming out in front of radical though could you explain that?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so because there is radical index 15 so than (x^3)^15 inside radical = x^3 - yes ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so the final answer is 45 and x still tho correct?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

\[\sqrt[15]{(x^3)^(15)} = (x^3)^(15/15) = x^3\]

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

final answer is x^45 *x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

great thank you

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

np was my pleasure toooooo - anytime good luck
