apparently there is, its about soluble and insoluble and all this stuff i dont understand and the test is tomorrow((((((-:

i usually stick with 4 or so: * all Group I cations and ammonium are soluble * all nitrates and acetates are soluble * chlorides, bromides, and iodides are soluble, except for compunds containing silver, lead, and mercury * hydroxides are generally insoluble, especially transition metal hydroxides

the list goes on but those are the ones we see most often
