OpenStudy (priyar):

mass of one mole of a substance is called molar mass

OpenStudy (priyar):

Ex: molar mass of oxygen=16u ..here its the same as atomic mass

OpenStudy (priyar):

If you need to know how to find the molar mass of an element, you just need to look up the atomic mass of the element. If you need to know the number of moles in an element, just divide the mass of the element (In grams) by the molar mass. If you need to find the mass (in grams) of an element, all you have to do is multiply the number of moles in an element by the molar mass.
