Science? question in comments
If two atoms have the same mass numbers but different atomic numbers, then they can be considered atoms of the same element. True False Im pretty sure it is true...but not one hundred percent...
This is Math
I'm pretty sure this is false. I reread what you said. Isotopes are atoms of the same element because they have the same number of protons and electrons. However, they have a different mass number. Isotopes are identified by their mass number. If an atom doesn't have the same number of electrons and protons, it isn't an isotope, therefore it's not under the same element. I may be wrong, but I don't believe so.
i know. no one is in chem XD sorry
no it is math in science
oh thanks Kikuo!
I KNOW. I GET THAT> I NEEDED THE ANSWER AND NO ONE WAS IN CHEMISTRY!
No problem! If I'm wrong don't award me a medal. Best of luck!
