What is the molality of a 26% NaCl? The density of solution is 1.20 g/mL

OpenStudy (aaronq):

It's important to include the units of the "26%".. if it's 26% w/v (weight by volume) NaCl means that for every 100 mL of solution, 26 g are NaCl (the rest is water). Find the total mass of 100 mL using the density, find the moles of NaCl then use this formula: \(\sf molality=\dfrac{moles~of~solute}{kg~of~solvent }\)
