for a system at constant volume does heat(in value) vary inversely to internal energy?
@samigupta8 @imqwerty @mayankdevnani @JFraser @baru @ParthKohli @rvc @mayankdevnani
Nope...
why no? are u sure?
do u know the enthalpy equation? thermodynamics?
which one r u asking ?
but this Q is not abt enthalpy..right?
Apply Frst law of thermodynamics
delta U = q+w .. is work done zero..?
Yup
but the answer doesn't match...
but now even i am sure it varies directly..and not inversely..
the answers don't match to delta of U=q+w
Constant volume is when you have a closed vessel. There when u increase heat/ temperature the mean kinetic energy increases right? Increasing of mean kinetic energy results in the increase of the internal energy. Therefore the heat vary directly proportional with the internal energy. The mean kinetic energy always depend on temperature :)
i guess it was a printing mistake..thanks all!
no problem :)
