I have a problem that I want someone to see if I'm on the right track please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So its asking what the boiling point of this vodka is...They give us the density of ethanol d=0.789g/mL; it is 100proof vodka, and it is left out in -15C weather. So far what i have done is found the molality (assuming 100g soln), and got 21.6molal. Then what i did was plugged it into DeltaT=ikbm and got 26.35C but I'm not sure where to go from there or even if this is correct. Little direction please?

@pooja195 @Zarkon can either of you let me know if i'm doing this correctly

Ok, so I just did Delta T =ikfm for part a (not shown) which asked if the vodka would freeze at -15C; I got Delta T =43 and Tf to be -74.3C so no it wouldn't freeze.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then with the boiling points delta t i did the normal boiling point of ethanol 78.4C and subtracted the delta t adn got 52.05C as the boiling point of 50% ethanol? is this correct?

@sweetburger do you know?
