A biologist determined that the quantity of bacteria in a petri dish decreases by half every day of the study. If there were 8 grams of bacteria at the beginning of the study, predict how many grams will be left after 3.5 days. Round to the nearest hundredth. PLEASE ANSWER I WILL GIVE MEDAL AND FAN!!!!!! PLEASE HELP AND ANSWER SOON I NEED TO STUDY FOR A TEST!
I don't know that's why I posted this question for help.
like a first step because the quantity of bacteria decreases by half every day so the half part of 8 grams of bacteria what is the cantity of begining the study will be 8/2 = ? - than you know this cantity suppose now let x so than the cantity of bacteria decreases by x every day of study and you need to calculi how many grams will be left after 3,5 days so this mean that you need multiplie this resulted x cantity by 3,5 and will get the cantity what you need subtract from the begining cantity what was 8 grams and so will get how many grams will be left after 3,5 days - hope this is understandably and that will help you good luck bye
so then what's the answer?
...
sorry but you need calculi it the right answer how i have wrote to you above good luck
