What you can do to find this is either divide the polynomials by 3x-1
Or you can find the value of x in this case, which is 1/3, then plug into each equation and work out
If you get 0 that means that 3x-1 IS a factor

I set it equal to zero because that is how you would solve a real polynomial when you factor

Ok so now if you input 1/3 for x you SHOULD get 0 for a value, because you set it equaled zero in the factor, so input 1/3 for x in all the equations, if the outcome of one of them is 0 then that is the right answer
