let me show you an image the solute is what you dissolve in your solvent. let's say in the figure below the purple spheres are the solute and the solution is water. now after a certain point, we wont be able to dissolve anymore solute in the solvent because at that point the solvent cant hold anymore solute. at this point it become saturated. that's what's happening here. |dw:1456688505139:dw|
