For all atoms with atomic numbers greater than hydrogen, which part of the atom has the greatest mass?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Hi! What do you think it should be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Electron? (my choices are between proton, nucleus, electron, and neutron)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

After Rutherford's experiment it was clear that most of the mass is concentrated in the central nucleus which is composed of nucleons i.e. neutrons and protons. Got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh, alright. Thank you!
