Will Medal! I need help!
If you go up that dotted line, you see that it starts off as \(\alpha, \beta\) structures, forming solely \(\beta\) at around 715 celsius, and it started melting at around 870 celsius and finally all melted around 900 celsius.
Pardon my ignorance. What does α,β mean?

they're different structures (arrangement of atoms in 3D) the metal takes, not exactly sure what they look like but I'm sure you can look it up
Would that mean that the metal would experience a phase change like changing from solid to liquid?
um im not sure if it's considered a change in phase, it's still solid.
So the atoms just rearrange themselves into different molecular structures?
yeah, there's more to it but i'm not familiar with it so i don't wanna give wrong info. it definitely has to do kinetic energy, minimizing repulsion and whatnot
