So for this problem you need to use the slope formula where slope = m \[m = \frac{ y _{2} - y _{1} }{x _{2} - x _{1} }\] Now the points on the graph can help, all we need to do is substitute \[x _{1} = 4\] \[y _{1} = 8\] \[x _{2} = 4\] \[x _{2} = 3\] It'll look this \[m = \frac{ 3 - 8 }{ 4 - 4 }\]
