Do not forget to include the states of matter of the reactants and the products. Hint: Methane is a gas at standard temperature and pressure.

well complete combustion means burning something in the presence of oxygen to get carbondioxide and water

@bambi152 yes that's correct. also A nice little fact to this is that when you burn something in a lack oxygen you get carbon monoxide as a product.
