STEP 1 re-arrange that formula and solve for Mb

OpenStudy (photon336):

\[\frac{ M_{HBr}V_{HBr} }{ V_{CsOH}} = M_{CsOH}\] Then convert millimeters to Liters and solve your equaion.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Alright did that. So far I have Vhbr = 0.264L and Vcsoh = 0.3L. How would I find the Mhbr? @Photon336

OpenStudy (ltrout):

@Photon336 Would the final answer be Mb = 0.0058M?

OpenStudy (photon336):

We need to convert everything to liters first because concentration is in moles/liter \[26.4~\cancel\mL~HBr~*(\frac{ 1~Liter }{ 1,000~\cancel\mL }) = 2.64*10^{-2} L~HBr\] \[30~\cancel\mL~CsOH~*(\frac{ 1~Liter }{ 1,000~\cancel\mL }) = 3.0*10^{-2} L~CsOH\] 0.25 M Hbr

OpenStudy (photon336):

\[\frac{ 0.25\frac{ moles }{ L } *2.64*10^{-2}\cancel\L}{ 3.0*10^{-2}\cancel\L~CsOH }= 0.22(\frac{ moles }{ L })CsOH\]
