this problem requires the application of many skills, including graphing and the use of statistical features on your calculator. First of all, you need to plot all of the given data points. Taking the sizes of the two different data types (time and # of stores), you might want to divide up the x (time) axis into 10 parts and label the scale divisions 0-10. For the vertical (y-) axis, I'd suggest you subdivide it into 11 parts, and label the scale divisions 0 to 11000. Use the Draw untility, below, as your medium.

Yes, the instructions state to let time begin at 0 so 1987 is year zero.
