How do I solve a question like this? --> If the pressure of the gas in a 2.31 L balloon is 0.12 atm and the volume increases to 7.14 L, what will be the final pressure of the air within the balloon? Assume the temperature remains constant.

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

P1 x V1 = P2 x V2

OpenStudy (aaronq):

P is pressure (in your question, it has units of "atm") V is volume (in your question, in units of liters (L)). plug in what you know and solve for the unknown pressure.
