so this is pretty much taking the derivative and then evaluating it at x= 45

The graph looks like a funtion. passes vertical line test. Also at time(45) the graph is moving in a linear fashion. We know that when you take the derivative of a linear equation the derivate will in result be the slope of line. Looks like what you did is alright.

idk maybe that involves integration/ finding the area under the curve. tbh im really not sure

I tried that and what I get goes over 100 liters...

Hmm, could it be adding 3 'derivatives'? I know from 20 to 35 minutes, it was at a constant, which is 30.. so we would just do \[(30)(15)\] which will be over 100, which makes sense. It's pumping at 30 a minute during a time period and we want 55 minutes worth. (Remember, it doesn't hold 100 liters, it starts out with 100) For the first part, it looks like a trapezoid and the last part looks like a triangle, so maybe find the area of those, as sweetburger said
