Hmm I dont think you need the molar mass. IM going to go with false.
But didnt we need the molar mass to find the percentage?
Molar mass of the individual elements we did need. We however did not need to know the molar mass of the entire compound.
we did (2(molar mass of carbon) / 60 )*100
