is women rights/ issues still a problem in eastern Europe?
@airjordan200
No it is not because the people of Eastern Europe went to war over it and decided to make woman right available
do you have an article i can read that goes over this? @ky56123
I am trying to post it but it will not let me. I am sorry
will i don't believe so... they went to war fight for women's right. So There is no doubt that women in Eastern Europe find themselves mainly among the loser. Irrespective of variations in economic and political development, birth-rates dramatically dropped in all countries of the former ‘Eastern Bloc’, while at the same time female unemployment increased
i know irrespective of variations in economic and political development, birth-rates dramatically dropped in all countries of the former eastern bloc while at the same time female unemployment increased significantly from the artical by sabine hering but im not sure if womens rights is still a problem in eatern europe
@Atrineas
The post-1989 transition from state socialism to capitalism and democracy has produced winners and losers. There is no doubt that women in Eastern Europe find themselves mainly among the loser. Irrespective of variations in economic and political development, birth-rates dramatically dropped in all countries of the former ‘Eastern Bloc’, while at the same time female unemployment increased significantly. Statistics disclose the reasons behind this development. They reveal a sharp decline in the number of places available in day nurseries for children, and an escalation of gender-specific segregation in the labour market. Both developments have contributed to a ‘feminisation of poverty’ which many Eastern European authorities accept as an inevitable consequence of modernisation So I'm going to say yes to this answer @song_of_the_sole
so you say womens right / issues is still a problem?
yes because in some places womens rights are still not allowed
but im talking about eastern europe
Well I meant some parts of eastern Europe but I can't say for sure
cuz i have to write a essay on womens rights and the last question i have to go over is how have leaders of the nation or region responded to the issue? and in order for me to answer this i need to know if its still an issue to begin with
Ah
so do you know how i can answer this?
Not really I only know what it's still a problem but that's about it sorry
so it is still a problem?....
@ScarlettFarra2000
