@Hero
1. Use the rule \((f \circ g)(x)= (f(g(x))\) to rewite the expressions.
im not sure how i would do that
2. You are given: \(f(x) = 8x - 7\) \(g(x) = 8x + 8\)
3. \(f(g(x))\) means to do the following: "Replace the \(x\) in \(f(x)\) with \(g(x)\), then simplify. In other words, \(f(x) = 8x + 7\) becomes: \(f(g(x)) = 8(g(x)) + 7\)
To clarify it better: \(f(\color\red{x}) = 8\color\red{x} + 7\) becomes: \(f(\color\red{g(x)}) = 8(\color\red{g(x)}) + 7\)
The next step is to replace \(g(x)\) with its algebraic expression, but on the right side only: \(f(\color\red{g(x)}) = 8(\color\red{8x + 8}) + 7\)
I made another mistake. this is actually supposed to be: \(f(\color\red{g(x)}) = 8(\color\red{8x + 8}) - 7\)
And then afterwards, we're supposed to finally let \(x = 7\)
Or rather find \(f(g(7))\)
so fout would f and g =?
what
You have to simplify this expression to find out: 8(8(7) + 8) - 7 Make sure you work "inside" out. It's easier.
512-7=505
Congrats.
thats the answer
I have 2 more could you help with them
