When an image has a point of symmetry, then any line containing that point will be a line of symmetry. A. True B. False
@agent0smith
http://www.mathwords.com/p/point_of_symmetry.htm the red point is a point of symmetry. Drawing any line through that red point will not form a line of symmetry. Try it out. Print out the image on a piece of paper. Fold the image over the supposed "line of symmetry". You'll see that things don't match up.
so true?
No, it's false
oh ok
it happens sometimes but only in cases like this http://www.math-only-math.com/images/types-of-symmetry-square.png only the dashed lines go through the point of symmetry (point O) and the dashed lines are also lines of symmetry however, no other lines are lines of symmetry. We cannot add in any line we like that goes through point O and have it be a line of symmetry
so I agree with @agent0smith the answer is false
