If you are cautious, it is possible to cold water below 0 C degree temperature. When we shake a tube with 12 grams of -5 C water, part of it becomes ice. Find the mass of the ice. Ignore eat exchange with environment and tube. Water's specific heat is 4200 K/(kg * C), specific melting heat of ice is 330000 J/kg

Could anyone tell me how heat is exchanged? I reckon that the energy required for water to become ice would be gotten from shaking the tube, however, how would I write it down into an equation?
