OpenStudy (taniacruz2000):

The molecular structure of water contains two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. When water reaches its boiling point and turns into water vapor what happens to its molecular structure?

OpenStudy (mww):

Boiling is an example of a physical process. This means the molecules orientate themselves further apart as they have greater vibrational energies (known as change of state/phase). However the molecular structure of water does not change. The chemical remains the same, it is still molecules of water. Only they are spaced further apart from each other and have more energy.
