OpenStudy (dairn):

An ideal gas at 65° C occupies a volume of 2.5 L at a pressure of 3.4 atm. How many moles of gas are present in the sample? A) 0.31 moles B) 1.60 moles C) 0.63 moles D) 3.30 moles

OpenStudy (dairn):

Using the equation \[PV = nRT\] I got 0.63 moles, C. Is this correct?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

If you converted the temp to Kelvin and used the appropriate gas constant (R), then it should be.

OpenStudy (dairn):

I have a feeling I didn't get the correct answer as I'm not entirely sure how to get R.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Gas_constant just match the units of R to your units
